Principles of De Stijl • Relied strongly on primary colours • Involved the use of hard edges and angular design • A design movement that was followed by both artists & designers/ architects
Geddit Reitveld • Dutch minimalist architect and designer • One of the most famous designers of the De Stijl movement • Work consisted of mostly cubist elements and contained mainly primary colours • Much of his furniture was designed to accompany his architectural commissions
