Immediate Relief efforts by Seva Bharathi • Moving people to safer places. • Over 20,000 food packets provided. • Ganji Kendras run for distributing food. • Over 60 truck loads of relief material sent. • A team of doctors and medical supplies sent. Health checkups and awareness campaigns conducted.

  3. Long Term Rehabilitation Plans • Restoring and improving previous living conditions in flood affected areas. • Building over 2300 homes. • Initiating Self Help Groups (SHG) for micro-financing.

  4. As on Today … • MOU has been signed with the govt of Karnataka and the 15 villages have been allotted to Seva Bharathi. • Architects have provided the design for homes and layout with estimated costs. • Various individuals, organizations and corporations have come forward to join hands and many more are expected to join.
