Student Goals • Review “My First Free Summer,” “Exile,” and “All-American Girl” by using vocabulary words in sentences that make statements about the literature. • Demonstrate comprehension of “My First Free Summer,” “Exile,” and “All-American Girl.” • Read “Antojos” and complete Active Reading questions.

  3. Vocabulary Repressive Extenuating Principles Replete Contradiction • You must use each word in a sentence. • Your sentence should do two things: • Use the word correctly. • Make a statement about the essay or poems.

  4. Homework • Finish reading “Antojos” and the active reading questions. • Write a summary of “Antojos.” • Make sure you have all the quotations you need for class Tuesday. • Week 15 due Monday, Jan.10.
