  3. Writing • Choose ONE topic. • Write a 3-paragraph essay with intro, body, and conclusion. • Paragraph should have a topic sentence and supporting sentences. • You may use a conceptual map or outline. You must give it to us.

  4. Topic 1 • Discuss the role of animal source foods in human nutrition. Why are ASF essential for human growth and development? What happens if you eat too much or too little meat?

  5. Topic 2 2. Discuss the role of Agricultural Extension in Puerto Rico in the 1950’s. Use examples from When I Was Puerto Rican to describe projects that they did. How successful were these programs? Why?

  6. Topic 3 3. How does an Experimental Station contribute to the field of agriculture? Use examples from our trip to Adjuntas.
