OBJECTIVES • On completion of this course you should be able to: • Understand the responsibilities of Database Administrator (DBA) • Understand how the transactions are processed and controlled in computer systems • Understand concepts of various databases such as data warehouse, OLAP, data mining, object data modeling and other kinds of advanced databases. • Use SQLPlus tool in Oracle and write codes using PL/SQL. • Able to implement a good database system in a real life situation
