Preconference Planning • Should only be used by those responsible for evaluation within a district • Not usually accessed by Teachers of Record • Records the Referral Date, Source and the whether the Public Agency will test the student or not • Records the proposed eligibility area(s) and required assessment domains • Generates the required permission forms and notices for testing
Evaluation Process • Should only be used by those responsible for evaluation within a district • Not usually accessed by Teachers of Record • Record the members of the Multidisciplinary Team dependent on the selected eligibility area(s) • Record parent or guardian consent to evaluate • Record narratives for required assessment domains • Summarize all assessments completed or reviewed and generate Educational Evaluation Report • For Initial Evaluations, record narratives and generate Notice of Initial Findings and Proposed Actions
IEP Process • Create Case Conference Team • Be sure to add Parent Info • Create Notice of Case Conference • Review Existing Data • Determine need for Reevaluation • Confirm Eligibility • Record Eligibility Decision • Do not Save and Continue on Eligibility Information page
IEP Process • Special Considerations and Behavior • Record all behavior related information including goals and services • If the IEP Purpose is Manifestation Determination, document the dialogue from that meeting here • Transition • Record findings from Transition Assessments • Document Student “I will…” statements • Keep in mind that these need to be written in measurable terms!
IEP Process • State Assessments and Other Participation • Lists three year span of testing and possible accommodations. • This allows for a view of the previously selected accommodations and the ability to plan ahead for the coming years.

IEP Process • Review Conference Notes • All notes entered on the individual pages are listed and may be edited here • Create IEP • Program runs final error checks • Document attendance at the CC • Document rejection of FAPE • Create Draft IEP at any time • Create Final IEP • Accept or Reject IEP (will be for Initials only soon)
ISP Process • Now allows users to enter the ISP Process directly if parents have rejected FAPE previously. • Contains all information from the rejected IEP. • Not all information is required. • Transition, for example, is not required for ISPs. • However, if the transition component is started the program will require users to complete it.
