Grading/Tutoring • 50% comes from Daily Grades • 50% comes from Major Grades such as large projects and tests Tutoring or make-up work – before and after school and 1stor 8th period. Let me know to expect you.

Other Procedures • Turn in all work in the proper box in the front of the room • Use the hall pass professionally • If you need a pen, pencil or other supplies look in the back of the room and help yourself • If you have extra time use the internet for learning

Surge protector should be on – what is the universal sign for on and off? Enter your student ID # for login and again for your password. You will be prompted to change your password immediately. User ID: Student ID Password: Same as last year or if new Student ID then set a new password! Power UP and Log-In!

Your Computer At school and at home
Expectations • Respect the Equipment Learn to use all AHS technology. • Learn to troubleshoot Check the power, the cables, wake your monitor up if it will not come on. • Save Your Work Often! If you lose it you have to start over, just like at home or work!
Did you Know? You can connect to your AHS desktop at home: AHS at Home Khanacademy.org is a free learning website used by millions of students. You can bring your own wireless device. EagleNet wireless is available to all students. Select it on the wireless choices. Use your normal AHS log-in information.
Your H Drive… • Is your SAVINGgrace. Literally. • Go to START and MY COMPUTER. Locate your H Drive which is labeled by your Student ID #. • You will save EVERYTHING you do in class here. If it is not in your H drive, it is not done.
Your C Drive…..A sinking ship! • Isn’t YOURS! • If you save to C: like you do at home you are sunk! • The C: is cleared every night in the Deep Freeze
Organize your H Drive with Folders • In your H Drive, right click anywhere in the white space. • Choose NEW and then FOLDER. • Type Accounting for the folder name. Four sub folders 1st 9 Weeks, 2nd 9 Weeks etc.
