  2. WHAT IS DRY WINE? Dry wine is any wine that has 0 to 1.3% residual sugar content. While many people think that dry wine is the dry sensation you get after drinking a glass, it’s not actually about that at all. Wine with a lot of tannins can make your tongue and mouth dry, but just because a bottle of wine has high levels of tannins, it doesn’t mean it’s a dry wine.
