My husband bumped a framed piece of art of the wall. He’s tall, it happens. Fortunately the frame and glass did not break but the nail came out of the wall. So what’s a renter to do? Here were the obstacles…Click Here Click Here Owners has used a headless nail to hang art. BAD idea. Stringed art, hooks, saw teeth – whatever gadget you got on your decor needs a nail with a nice head to grip. Or better yet use these multi purpose screws from Hangman.com. They work for stringed art, saw teeth and D rings. I had no hammer. I thought of using a shoe but I was at the shore at only had flip flips. Flips flops don’t make good hammers! I did not have an ideal nail. I wanted a sturdy common nail with a head but nothing was left in the junk drawer. NO pile of useless nails or screws. Not even a screwdriver to be found. But no worries, I figured out how to hang the art by tapping into my inner MacGuyver! You too can think out of the box. www.bethallendiy.com
