Hazing has the form of quizzes and sports competitions. The latter bring the most excitement and laughter.
THE FORMAL ADMITTING and taking an oath of the first graders takes place during the academy on the National Day of Education. The schoolmaster admits the new students by touching their arms with the huge pencil. Then the students take an oath on the school banner.
Once a year, the results of the ‘SUPER ONES’ plebiscite are announced on this day. The students cast their votes for ‘the Teacher of High Quality’. ‘the Teachers of High Quality’

In November we organize the ‘TALENT SHOW’ when we present our achievements. Sports, acrobatics, and dance shows, language, vocal, and recitation performances make a great impression on all parents and students.
A great event awaited by the local community every year is THE NATIVITY PLAY. Unprofessional but experienced young actors work very hard to create the nativity characters. This is always rewarded by the huge success.
The play is dignified by carols sung by the vocal and instrumental band of our school.
Each year we take part in the campaigns organized in our commune, such as: - the Great Orchestra of the Christmas Help - a Heap of Grosz (cents) - the Congress of the Young Ecologist - the Cleaning of the World - the Safe Commune - Threat – Stop - Sports Games the European Forum the Great Orchestra of the Christmas Help

On the first day of spring we organize the huge event – THE DAY OF THE HOME RULE. The main theme of the day is connected with the realization of the educational plan of the school. So far we have had: The Greek Day, The Maths Day, The Day of English, the European Day, the Day of Inventions, the Day of Good Education and the Day of Integration. Each grade prepares a short freestyle artistic programme. the Greek Day - 2000 the Maths Day - 2001

However, the highlight of the event is the volleyball match between the teacher and the student teams.
The spring is the time of various RECITATION AND POETIC CONTESTS related to the person of the priest Jan Twardowski. The students from the junior high schools of our commune take part in the contests. The standard of contestants is always high and contradicts the common opinion that teenagers don`t like, don`t know and don`t read the poetry.
In April the third graders take the junior high school finals. It checks the skills and knowledge in the fields of the arts and science.
May is the months of the most important events of our junior high school. In order to commemorate these events the students prepare poetic and music spectacles. They recite the poems of priest Jan Twardowski intermingled by the songs sung by the vocal band and choir.
‘THE SCHOOL FESTIVAL’ – is the opportunity of gathering some pieces of information about our school, namely its Patron, traditions, history and achievements. The most important event of the day is the special academy with the thoughts of the Patron, priest Jan Twardowski.

Secondary school students associate June with the high schools finals while we – with the trips both to the country and abroad. We have been to few European Union countries, e.g. Belgium, Great Britain, Germany and France. TRIPS ABROAD are not only the great lessons of the history, geography, culture of given countries but also the test of communication skills of our pupils. Trips abroad have become the tradition of our school. in Ukraine in Luxemburg
At the end of the school year we choose “THE BEST GRADUATE OF THE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL NO 1 NAMED AFTER THE PRIEST JAN TWARDOWSKI”. • It is the student who: • - reached the best marks in the period • of the three years • displayed the exemplary attitude • to the student`s duties • represented school in subject • contests and competitions and wan • awards in the successive stages • actively supported school • organizations • - is the individuality among his peers
