  4. Where Healthlink is at: • Continuing to expand • User numbers continue to increase • Demand continues to grow • Expectations continue to rise • Project Potential unlimited

  5. Continuing to expand • Operational in 6 hospitals currently • Pilot complete in 1 more hospital • 12 more pilots due to be completed over the next 12 months

  6. User numbers continue to increase • 372 GPs using Healthlink Online • 207 Practices registered • 459 Practice Staff incl Practice Managers, Admin Staff and Nurses

  7. Demand continues to grow • GP Business with the hospital growing at an alarming rate • Agencies want to participate • E.g. St Vincents in Fairview, St Mary’s Phoenix Park, Ennis Day Hospital, Baggot St Hospital etc

  8. Expectations continue to rise • When are we getting the rest of the messages? • The consultant in the Day Hospital wants access to lab results • Can we get labs from hospital x, y and z? • Can we get consultant letters?

  9. Project Potential unlimited: • Two way communication • Lab ordering • Neurology Referrals • Web Services • Linking with the VRL • Migration to .NET

  10. Making IT happen • Working with the stakeholders • Communicating with all parties • Sourcing the funding • Implementing the standards • Supporting the users
