According to experts, the size of wardrobe should be 20% larger than your requirement.  There is no need to mention that the wardrobe should be proportionate to the size of the room. Make sure adequate space is left in the room.

You can refer the Internet to find out who is more reliable.  If your friend or colleague or neighbor has installed a wardrobe recently, then you can ask their opinion.
