  2. Setting This story takes place almost everywhere. It takes place on a street called Egypt Street, the Queen Marie, a old women's home, a dump, a camp and a train, a scarecrow, a old house, in the street, and in a shop! This took place around 1930’s because of the Queen Mary.

  3. Characters' Some character’s are… • Edward Tulane- a handsome china rabbit with many suits, hats, and accessories that has no love for anybody and is snobby and only cares about himself. • Abilene Tulane-a 10 year old girl with dark hair who's Edwards owner who loves him very much but doesn’t get much back in turn. • Pellegrina Tulane-a old women with a long and sharp nose and bright black eyes who made Edwards and the one who warns him about his selfishness. • Bryce- a young boy with brown eyes and lots of freckles who saved Edward and taught him how to love.

  4. Plot: Problem There are a couple problems in the story, one that he keeps getting lost by his owners and two he hasn’t learned how to love yet. He can’t really do anything about it because he is unable to move.

  5. Plot: Resolution Since Edward is only a china rabbit he cannot move so he is at the mercey of his surroundings. Edwards resolution to this is just to sit there since he can’t do anything else. Another resolution to another one of his problems is to try to listen and love people more.

  6. My opinion My opinion of the book is that it is a sad book. It has a happy ending though but still has sad parts. It is a good and loving book that anyone should like. If you are a real softy then you better grab your tissues.

Summary Edward Tulanewas a selfish rabbit who doesn’t know how to love and is made almost entirely of china.His owner was a 10 year old girl named Abilene who loved him very much. but one day when the family was ridding on a cruse ship named the “Queen Marie” Edward was dumped overboard. Edward eventually gets rescued by a fisherman who brings him home for his wife who mistakes him for a girl. Their daughter takes Edward to the dump without her parents knowing. Edward is then saved by a dog and is taken to the dog’s owner. He gets lost again and is found by an old lady who uses him for a scarecrow. A young boy named Bryce takes Edward to his house for his sister who is deathly ill. She dies and Bryce runs away and uses Edward as a puppet. He then gets smashed by the owner of a dinner and has a dream while he’s broken. When he wakes up he finds out that he has been remade by a toymaker who would only fix him if he kept him. He is placed in a shelf and sits there for years. Then one day a little girl with her mom came in and they looked at Edward. The women then realized as soon as Edward that she was Abilene and he was Edward and that they were reunited again.
