Social interaction and loneliness impact the quality of life of patients, older adults, families, carers and workers, including their ability to progress and the performance of organizations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. The purpose of this report is to increase understanding of loneliness and social interaction to improve the quality of life of patients, older adults and carers, so they can progress and the organizations near them can perform better.
