4. What is IU-EVAL? IU-EVAL is a web-based course evaluation system.
It was initiated in 2004.
5. Who uses it?
To date, over 20,000 students have used the system.
Currently three colleges at IU South Bend use the system for their course evaluations. (70% SCH)
6. Project Goals develop a web-based, customizable and scalable electronic evaluation system.
understand and accommodate the unique assessment needs of academic units within the university.
ensure the anonymity of students.
ensure the privacy of faculty.
save time and reduce cost.
increase the quality and accuracy of reports.
make the system freely available to the academic community.
7. Audience Survey Raise your hand if your school uses paper evaluation forms.
Raise your hand if the students responses are typed before they are made available to faculty.
Raise your hand if your school uses electronic evaluation.
Raise your hand if the entire campus uses a single form.
