THE GREATEST CHALLANGE TO AL-ISLAM TODAY IS NOT FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT FROM THE EXTREMISITS WITHIN... THE QUESTION ON EVERYONES MIND IS: WHAT DRIVES THESE MUSLIM EXTREMISTS TO COMMITT ACTS OF TERRORISM IN THE NAME OF JIHAD? THE POSSIBLE ANSWER IS WITHIN: THE DISTORTIONS OF THE MESSAGE OF THE QUR’AN PLUS LIBERAL DISTRIBUTION OF THAT DISCRIMATORY EXTREMIST TRANSLATION IN SEVERAL LANGUAGES... ..
‘THE NOBLE QUR'AN’ Is the Title of the Interpretation of the meanings of the Qur’an (The Word of Allah). The Interpretations are by: Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali Formerly Professor of Islamic Faith and Teachings and Dr. Muhammad Mushin Khan Formerly Director, Islamic University Hospital in Madina The publication is published from Riyadh - Saudi Arabia. The interpretation is heavily intermingled with commentaries and notes, within and without parentheses. Muslim Scholars claim, these notes & interpretations promote ill-will towards NON-MUSLIMS & NON-SUNNI MUSLIMS
Compare the translation of the Qur’an Surah Al-Fatiha Chapter 1; Verse 7 Translation By Muhammad M. Pickthall Translation By Dr. Hilali + Dr. Khan The Ways of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). I have taken the liberty of printing the noteworthy extra texts, not mentioned in the Original Arabic Message, in Red The path of those whom Thou hast favored; Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger, nor of those who go astray.
The Verse 2: 62, quoted below NEGATES THE RADICAL TRANSLATION by Hilali + Khan of Surah Al-Fatiha Ch. 1, Verse 7 "Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their rewards with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." Surat 2. Al-Baqra, Verse 62. However, Hilali+Khan have claimed in their commentary: “... that the provision of this Verse (2: 62) was abrogated by the Verse 3: 85” Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s commentary conveys different Message: “The point of the verse (2: 62) is that Islam does not teach exclusive doctrine, and is not meant exclusively for one people.”
Dr. Hilali and Dr. Khan's Interpretation of • Surah Al-’Imran Chapter 3, Verse 84 • Say (O Muhammad s.a.s.): • “We believe in Allah and that has been sent down to us, and that was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), • Isma’il (Ishmael, Ishaq (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob) • and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons Ya’qub (Jacob)] what was given to Musa (Moses), • ‘Isa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. • We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam).” • While reading Interpretations of next Verses, remember Allah has Commanded us to make NO DISTINCTION...
Compare the translation of the Qur’an Surat Al-Baiyyinah Ch. 98; Verse 6 Translation By Muhammad M. Pickthall Translation By Dr. Hilali + Dr. Khan Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad s.a.s.) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikin will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings.
Compare the translation of the Qur’an Surat Al-Baiyyinah Ch. 98; Verse 7 Translation By Muhammad M. Pickthall Translation By Dr. Hilali + Dr. Khan Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad s.a.s) including all obligations ordered by Islam] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures. Notice the amplification to the Word’s of Allah in this and the Next Verses. (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings.
Compare the translation of the Qur’an Surat Al-’Imran Ch. 3; Verse 110 Translation By Muhammad M. Pickthall Translation By Dr. Hilali + Dr. Khan You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad s.a.s. and his Sunnah)are the best of people ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar(polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have Faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah and rebellious against Allah’s Command). Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.
Dr. Hilali and Dr. Khan's Commentary to The Earlier Verse 3: 110: Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Verse: “You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism and real followers of Prophet Muhammad {S} and his Sunnah (legal ways)], are the best of people ever raised up for mankind” means, the best for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam (and thereby save them from the eternal punishment in the Hell-fire and make them enter Paradise in the Hereafter). (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 4557). The Qur’an in Surat Al-Baqarah Ch. 2, Verse 256 reveals: “There is no compulsion in religion.” A BELIEVER SHOULD NEVER COMPELL ANYONE TO EMBRACE ISLAM
Translation of SURAH AL-’IMRAN CHAPTER 3; VERSE 85 By Muhammad M. Pickthall “And whoso seeketh as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah) it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter. Interpretation of the above Verse 3: 85 By DR. HILALI + DR. KHAN “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” [1] Commentary [1] by Hilali + Khan reads: It is obligatory to have belief in the Messengership of the Prophet (Muhammad s.a.s.). The following text from Surat Al-Ma’idah Chapter 5, Verse 48. Interpreted by Hilali + Khan, This Verse conveys the Revealed Truth by Allah: “To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so compete in good deeds.”
Below Is The Revolutionary Commentary which Propagates Al-Jihad (holy fighting), is the Pillar of Islam and Is an obligatory duty in Islam on every Muslim... COMPARE THE TEXT OF QUR’AN, WHICH SPEAKS OF THE DEFENSIVE FIGHT, WITH ITS RADICAL COMMENTARY DONE BY HILALI + KHAN Qur’an Chapter 2, Verse 190 And fight in the Way of Allah [1] those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allah likes not the transgressors. Commentary [1]: Al-Jihad (holy fighting) in Allah’s Cause (with full force of numbers and weaponry) is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of the pillars (on which it stands). By Jihad Islam is established. Allah’s Word is made superior, (His Word being La ilaha illallah which means none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and His religion (Islam) is propagated. By abandoning Jihad (mayAllah protect us from that) Islam is destroyed and the Muslims fall into an inferior position; their honour is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish. Jihad is an obligatory duty in Islam on every Muslim, and he who tries to escape from this duty, or does not in his innermost heart wish to fulfill this duty, dies with one of the qualities of a hypocrite.
The following text is copied from the Internet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noble_Qur%27an_(Hilali-Khan) The Hilali-Khan translation has been criticised by several prominent Western Muslims. Khaleel Mohammed has taken the translation to task for "[reading] more like a supremacist Muslim, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian polemic than a rendition of the Islamic scripture", [2] while Sheila Musaji complains that it "is shocking in its distortions of the message of the Qur’an and amounts to a rewrite not a translation", [3] and Dr. Robert (Farooq) D. Crane states that it is "Perhaps the most extremist translation ever made of the Qur’an".[4] Khaled Abou El Fadl attacks what he calls "grotesque misogyny" in the translation. [5]
