  1. Social impact on Lithuania and Klaipėda town(1) Taxes transferred to State budget within the period of 2008 - 2012 amounted to 80,6 mln. Lt

  2. Social impact on Lithuania and Klaipėda town(2) Funds of Port Authority allocated to Klaipėda Municipality in 1994 - 2012 (for reconstruction of roads, bridges, etc). Total: 116,8 mln. Lt

Social impact on Lithuania and Klaipėda town(3) Every year the Seaport Authority makes its contributions to cultural and social events organized in Klaipėda, like Tall ship races, town festivals, sporting events, etc. The Seaport Authority has been implementing (temporally terminated) the social project – constructions of the Marina designated for small and leisure boats. The Seaport Authority has been implementing the social project – reconstruction of Šventoji Port (Marina) – significant in terms of social and economic aspect.

Social impact on Lithuania and Klaipėda town(4) Pursuant to the data of State Tax Inspectorate 10 top Klaipėda town tax payers paid to State budget over 289 mln. lt in 2012 – this amount constitutes 51 pct. of the total sum of taxes paid by all Klaipėda tax payers. SC „Klaipėdos nafta“ SC „DFDS Seaways“ SE Klaipėda State Seaport Authority SC „Western Shipyard“ SC „SC Klaipėda Stevedoring Company” are on the list of 10 top companies.
