What you can do at home Ensure children complete homework / Study Books. Read regularly and ask questions. Learn spellings, practise times tables weekly. Ensure that children are rarely absent. Make sure the children get a good nights’ sleep. Positively encourage them. During the week of the tests, ensure that the children are in school, on time and have had a good breakfast. During SATs week the children will get juice and toast each morning as an energy boost but this isn’t to replace their normal breakfast.
