  2. CLASSROOM RULES PREPARATION • Be prepared! You should always have the following for class. No matter what! • Textbook • Pen • Paper • You will not be allowed to leave the class to retrieve.

  3. CLASSROOM RULES RELATIONSHIPS/TEAMWORK: • Show respect for ALL persons and their personal belongings in the room • Respect yourself, your peers and staff. Remember, everyone has the right to learn • Cooperate and be friendly to others

CLASSROOM RULES ATTENTION AND FOCUS • You need to be completely attentive in this class! • Reading books, working on other classes, or even putting your head down to nap will result in me asking you to leave and you reporting to the office • No ipods or cell phones– period • Device will be taken and given to the office

  5. CLASSROOM RULES MISSED ASSIGNMENTS • My policy will be that assignments no submitted on a deadline are recorded as missed. There will be no excuse that is accepted at the last minute. • If you come to me to explain why an assignment is missed, I will politely leave the discussion. The expectation is clear- no exceptions. • The following excuses are not going to work: • Computer was not working • Did not know your email address • Did not have print paper or printer broken

CLASSROOM RULES ATTENDANCE • Students are expected to be in class on time every day • Students who are absent will be responsible for making up the work missed. • Missed tests will be written on the first day the student returns. The student must approach me the next class period to write the test. • Students who skip a test will get a zero on the test • High absenteeism does have consequences

  7. CLASSROOM RULES • ITEMS NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM: • Coats and jackets are to be left in your locker • No food is allowed in the classroom and no drinks are allowed unless it is water, which must be in a sealed container.
