2. Have Kids … Join PTA What is the PTA? The Grass Valley PTA brings parents, educators, and the community together to enhance our children’s success. We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts and information, and work on programs to benefit our children. Why join the PTA? The number one reason to join the PTA is your child(ren)! Your membership contributes to the education and quality of life for all children at Grass Valley. The Grass Valley PTA sponsors many programs that benefit the children at our school. Some of these programs include: • Art Discovery and Monthly Birthday Celebrations • Book Fairs and Curriculum Enhancements ($500/grade) • Fall Family Fun Night and Staff Appreciation Week • Spring Carnival/Silent Auction and Teacher Mini-Grants When you join Grass Valley PTA, you become an important part of a partnership that encourages student achievement, enriches the learning environment, and promotes quality education. Together, we are a powerful voice for our children and our community. Please join with us to make a difference in the education, health, and welfare of our children. If your time is limited, nothing additional is required of you when you become a PTA member. Please join today! Membership dues are only $10.00 per person.
