Arthur Adrian Hooke July 10, 1944 - January 7, 2013 CCSDS Founder Project Manager JPL Adrian served as dual roles within the CCSDS, both as Chairman of the CCSDS Engineering Steering Group (CESG) and as Technical Lead for Networking Architecture, Technology and Standards in the Space Communications and Navigation office at NASA Headquarters.

  2. Administrative Overview Registration will be set up near a central location on Monday morning and will also double as the Secretariat area through the rest of the week. Meeting and break schedules will be as follows: Start time          08:45 Coffee break   10:30-10:50 Lunch Break    12:30-13:30 Coffee Break   15:30-15:50 End time 18:00 Beverages will be available in the foyer during the morning and afternoon breaks. Lunch will be on your own from 12:30-13:30 on the 3rd floor. A special lunch rate has been negotiated with Darmstadtium: 5.8 € / lunch (starter and main course or main course / desert + soft drink + coffee) Please let the Secretariat staff know as soon as possible if you will not be using your meeting room at your scheduled time.   3. Administrative Overview Wireless Internet is available in all the meeting rooms and throughout Darmstadtium: Login (ESOC2012) and Password (CCSDSESA). WG Chair will get the key of his meeting room and is responsible to lock it. In case of problems in your meeting room (beamer, wireless, temperature, etc.) please call 200 using the room phone. Beamers do not have a high resolution. Please set up your notebook resolution to 1024 x 768 30th CCSDS Birthday: Dinner on 18th April 2012 at 7 pm in Orangerie Hall Map was included in the Registration Package Soft and alcoholic drinks to be paid at the bar by each attendee Mineral water will be available free of charge on the tables Parking fee for participants People arriving by car will collect their ticket from the machine when entering the car park. CCSDS Technical Editors: “Boot Camp” Tom Gannett - CCSDS Chief Technical Editor The purpose of the technical editor “boot camp” is to improve overall quality and enable faster processing of documents submitted to the Secretariat by familiarizing working group technical editors with CCSDS requirements for technical content, publication style and procedures for document submission. Tom: Update IT IS MANDATORY THAT ANY PERSON WHO IS ASSIGNED TO BE THE EDITOR OF A CCSDS DOCUMENT MUST ATTEND A BOOT CAMP.
