  2. Overview • MiRS to be fully implemented in NDE DHS environment to process NPP ATMS data • Preliminary Design Review Aug. ’09 • Implement MiRS in NDE as a ‘pilot’ which will ultimately lead to operational use

  4. Interface Considerations • PCF related parameters are registered in the DHS DB. Arrival of level-1b triggers PCF generation and invocation of MiRS algorithm. • Status: NDE evaluating MiRS PCF. • Short term: Populate DB to generate PCF; may have to write ‘wrapper’ to rewrite PCF in MiRS expected format. • PSF contains filenames of input/output products and limited QC parsed by DHS to determine next action. • Status: Documentation outlining PSF requirements (not finalized). • Short term: MiRS scripts to generate exit status codes for DHS; MiRS script function to generate PSF for DHS
