Environmental section (2/2) • O.12 • Repairer must follow the environmental policy as provided through Toyota’s “Earth Charter” • The repairer must: • Ensure the correct treatment of hazardous wastes meets local legal requirements- MR • Ensure that the wastewater discharge meets local legal requirements – MR • Ensure the proper recovery of HFC/CFC and maintain records - MR • Collect data for specific environmental aspects on an annual basis (water, gas, electricity & waste streams) – MR • Comply with any additional obligations as required by local legislation - MR • Set environmental objectives/targets relevant to environmental aspects – Level 1 • Implement an environmental management system either based on ISO 14001 or NMSC approved scheme – Level 2
