Long Shot: used to stress environment or setting and to show a character’s/s’ position in relationship to a given environment
Medium Shot: contains a figure from the waist or knee up a functional shot used for scenes with dialogue/but also shows some of the background 2-shot, 3-shot
Close Up: includes very little background, concentrating on the object or a face close ups have significance or symbolic value used to show emotion
Extreme Close Up: A framing in which the scale of the object shown is very large; most commonly, a small object or a part of the body usually shot with a zoom lens.
Subjective Shot: a shot framed in a way that prompts viewers to believe they are looking from a specific character’s point of view
