Public access Looking south from Bridge at Burmis Lake (near east end of Burmis Lease) West view from bridge. TU Oldman helped facilitate bridge repair with NCC, neighbor to the west.
Work since 2003 • Weed control • Removal of old fencing along the river to enhance foot access • Installation of fencing to enclose pasture • Garbage clean-up • Erection of signage
Partners • TD Friends of the Environment Foundation: $4,000 • Alberta Conservation Association: $4,000 • TUC (National) Coldwater fund: $4,500 • TUC Oldman: $4,500

West end of lease:Public foot access • Installation of gate • Small parking lot
Access and restoration • CP Rail requires fencing to separate tracks from foot access • Part of open space that needs vehicle access restriction and reseeding
Restoration and Enhancement • Public money paid for restoration • Lack of attention resulted in this • Good stewardship for all suggests limiting vehicle access, reseeding.

Conservation • Lease proximity to the river means what happens to the land affects fish habitat.
