  3. SMART Boards Each SMART Board needs to be connected to a computer, needs to be in close proximity to computer and projector

  4. SMART Boards The projector is on a table or cart about 7 to 10 feet from the SMART board

  5. SMART Boards The IS Department has “floor coverings” for the cords and “velcro” to secure the projector to the cart or table

  6. SMART Boards Ceiling installation is an additional $600 per unit … billed to the program – We won’t be doing ceiling installations at Transition

  7. SMART Boards There are wireless keyboards and mouse for each SMART Board … teacher or EA doesn’t have to be stationed at the computer

  8. SMART Boards The SMART Board will be connected to software through a student computer in the classroom … The software (SMART NOTEBOOK) has been downloaded in each room

  9. SMART Boards Some classrooms will require a new data drop … this will be done after 2:00 pm on March 10

  10. SMART Boards Installation will begin the week of March 15 … it takes about a half hour per install. After the installation of the Smart Board, the IS Dept will come in and install the projector and data drops (if needed)
