  2. What is the difference between theoretical probability and experimental probability? • Theoretical probability shows what should happen in an experiment. • Experimental probability shows what actually happened.

  3. Experimental vs. Theoretical Experimental probability: P(event) = number of times event occurs total number of trials Theoretical probability: P(A) = number of favorable outcomes total number of possible outcomes
