  2. Who was Ivan the Terrible? • Ivan is the son of Vasili the III • First ruler to be crowned as Tsar of all Russia • Killed one his songs named Ivan • He had killed many nobles for believing they had killed his wife and plotting to kill him too

  3. Conquer of Russia • Ivan had conquered Kazan, Astrakhan, and Siberia • This had given him control of most of Russia that is in control today.

  4. Personal life • Ivan was a poet and composer • Historians don’t know exactly how many wives Ivan had had • Had 8 children, where only 2 made it to adulthood

  5. Death • Ivan died March 18, 1584 • He died of a stroke while playing a game of chess
