  4. PhORCAS • Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application • What is it? • One online submission – disseminated to multiple programs • Applications customizable to specific programs • Letters of recommendation submitted electronically • Allows tracking of the application process

  6. How do I pick the right program? • Factors to consider: • Patient population • Services offered • Teaching requirements • Staffing commitments • Work environment • Academic vs. community setting • Project expectations • Competition • Geography

  7. The interview process • All-day event • Introduction to the program and site • Meet with the staff and current residents • Multiple rounds of interviews • Presentation • Patient case analysis
