SPMSNPHS/NPMS Inputting Scores into an Excel document
First you must find out all your personal course codes for each of your classes. To do this go into your Genesis grade book and look at your home page that lists all the courses you teach. For example:7RD32/3-READING 7 - TEAM 3
Look for Dropdown: Students in courseSearch for your personal course codes; you will be doing this for each course. Click on: Your course, for example: 7RD32/3-READING 7 - TEAM 3Click on: Search
You will see a list of your students. In the upper right you will see the Excel icon(next to the printer icon). Click on this to access the spreadsheet.
You will then be entering the data from the writing prompt into row F. When you have finished entering all the data, you will need to save this document into your staff files. Repeat the process for each class you teach. You will need to label row F “Writing Prompt 1”, and delete any extra information from other rows (G -N). As the year progresses you will be recording more prompts in the subsequent rows.
You will be asked to send your completed documents to the LAF in your building. Please send all documents at one time, not individually. They will be complied and forwarded to the district supervisors.
