  3. Why? First built in honor of the God of Sun Later, pharos started to build them in honor of themselves They had no storage purpose, simply for looks

  4. Building Process Took a little less than a year to build All built 100% by hand Made from pink Aswan granite First of its kind, no one had anything like it

  5. Today Stand all over the world Over 20 in Rome There are also many other obelisks standing built later Such as Washington Monument
