Why it failed Clinton’s healthcare plan failed because it was much to complicated. The proposed legislation for his plan totaled 1,342 pages Even Clinton’s top advisors could not grasp many of the plans technical features
Anticrime Legislation Clinton failed to get his healthcare plan through congress, but was successful in implementing his anticrime plan. the funding for this plan was $30.2 billion dollars, which involved an unprecedented involvement by the federal government in local law enforcement.
Where did the money go? $8.8 billion to hiring 100,000 new officers. $7.9 billion to help states build prisons. $6.9 to fund social programs. Including $1.6 billion to fund the Violence Against Women Act.
