  2. The last of us • Okay. The last of us or TLOU is a third person shooter game, because you can see yourself, Joel, as you play. • Here is the game trailer, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8Q7hP-XD6E (sorry if there is some swearing) • The last of us is made by Naughty Dog and is only played on Ps3 (best system)

  3. The Main Characters • The main Character is Joel, who you play as. He is about 45 and white • Tess, Joel’s partner and a girl she is white. She is middle aged. • Ellie is 14 is a girl and is like a sidekick to Joelshe is White. • Bill, Crazy middle aged man, friend of Joel. • Uncle Tommy, Joel’s brother younger than Joel, but still middle aged

Back story • The story started 20 years ago when the apocalypse started and Joel is with his 14 year old daughter, they drive off with his brother when they get in a car accident, the daughter has a broken leg and cannot walk. They run off carrying her when they come across an army man who shoots and kills her. Joel is devastated. Then it goes to 20 years later when he and his partner Tess have to deliver a 14 year old girl to the fire-flys (CDC) who was bitten by a zombie but didn’t turn, She has been labeled as the cure and has to be delivered. • You have to play to figure out the rest

  5. I think some traits of Joel are… • Joel is an all around awesome guy. He may seem frustrated and grumpy, but really he is just always exposed to death. He is a strong zombie fighter and really cool. • Ellie is a sarcastic pretty strong little girl. She can hold her ground and is excited to see the outside world. (She was born into the Zombie apocalypse)

  6. How people are portrayed • The bad guys are portrayed as bad. Basically you kill them because they are going to kill you otherwise • Good Guys are portrayed as if they are one more savor. They will usually help you if you help them • Men and woman have no stereo types. Children do less because you try and save children and keep them out of danger.

  7. Homophobia or disabilites • There are no lists of homophobia in my game as I have seen. It doesn’t go into detail about that kind of category. • People with mental or physical disabilities have not been seen in the game from what I have seen

  8. The game TLOU has a large amount of violence in it. You kill people, you kill zombies you kill all the time, I don’t recommend it if you don’t like blood and gore… • And from research a lot of people say that the last of us has as much violence as COD or Halo.

  9. Positive and Negative • Positive messages were hard to find on the internet. I think that the positive message was that you can do something if you put your mind to it.. Even in a zombie apocalypse. • The negative were there was lots of swearing and killing but at least no racism.

  10. When I started playing the game I was 13, the game is Farley new. I don’t think any younger for this game would be appropriate for all the swearing and violence. • I think I spend about three hours a day on this game because it is just so fun.

  12. This game is the perfect combination for me. I LOVE zombies. I enjoy shooting in real life and in video games. I enjoy the graphics and how difficult it can be. Yes I truly think I may have a slight addiction.

  13. Zombie types • Runner, which is a regular zombie that hasn’t been turned for that long. Can be suffocated or shot in head.(Stage one) • Clicker, which is covered in fungi and is blind. Makes clicking sound and has amazing hearing, cant always be killed with head shot. I shiv in the neck will kill. (Stage two) • Bloater, which is the boss zombie. And like 12 feet tall, covered in poisoned fungi and really hard to kill. Usually shooting them and lighting them on fire will kill them (Stage three)

  14. What you can do in the game • In the last of us. You can play the story mode which is really, really fun. You can play story mode on easy, medium, or hard. I have only played on easy and medium. Once I finish medium I will move on to hard. • Or you can play online with people. • I prefer to play story mode because it is more fun.
