    5. RRT Pilot Study: Design Open to anyone with a trauma history who sought care at Manatee Glens (MG) February through May 2011 Volunteer clients randomly assigned to: MG: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) 6-8 weeks OR RRT: 1-2 sessions

    6. RRT Pilot Study: Assessment Tool PCL-C developed by Frank Weathers at Na. Center for PTSD Self-report, 17 items 5 point severity scale Rate how much they have been bothered by each symptom in the past month Pre and Post tests PTSD Checklist Civilian Version = PCL-C

Rapid Resolution Therapy® Completely resolves both psychological and physiological effects of trauma Brain-based approach to trauma therapy (LeDoux, Siegel, van der Kolk) Objective: Allows traumatic memory to be reprocessed and reintegrated by keeping the client “emotionally present” as she describes the traumatic event (interoception).
