Process Improvement Teams (PITs):Structure • FAMS Address 15 Different Processes • -> 15 Different PITs • Each PIT Composed of Process Owners • And Led by a Process Manager • Only Active Process Owners • People with Clear Responsibility • Groups Should be Representative • But as Small as Possible (<12)

  7. Process Improvement Teams (PITs):Functions • Process Owners Represent the Staff from their Department • Achieve Consensus on Proposed Processes • Process Manager Takes PIT Recommendations to Project Management Team for Approval • Conduct the Implementation of their Process

  9. Project Management Team:Function • Project Manager Leads the Project Team • Just as Process Managers Lead the PITs • Approves PIT Recommendations • Or Sends Back for further Work • Integrates the Process Improvements • And Resolves Conflicts between Processes
