  1. Who Is ACS? We are a non-profit that specializes in working with local communities to develop technology solutions that enhance safety, security and resiliency by improving outreach, communications and preparedness; as well as response and recovery for many types of emergencies and major disasters. Since 2007, our organization has worked with thousands of organizations to create, deploy and host various types of communications and inter-connected web technologies. We are always seeking new communities interested in collectively building and sharing in these goals. Joe Abrams, Chairman Alliance for Community Solutions

  2. Maximum Benefit - Minimum Cost • Designed as a partner program to share technology tools within and between local communities • The tools we provide protect privacy, but address the real need for inter-agency coordination during emergencies, which promotes resiliency • The solutions / functions / enhancements can be purchased by members on behalf of the group • The ACS annual fee for active members covers the cost of access, hosting, maintenance, admin and technical support • Member growth is achieved primarily by existing members (word-of-mouth) to further reduce costs • The more involved the member agencies; the more collaboration and better prepared
