  1. What are you doing buying bulk email addresses at high prices from dubious sources? How’s that working for you? It’s not, is it? They say they’re freshly harvested, but you know they aren’t! Email Gopher 1.0 is the fastest route to savings on building and growing your new sales prospect lists, industry contacts databases, and your business. Email gopher is loaded with shortcuts and features that make your job easier, and your paycheck bigger. Other email mining software just cannot compete with the CADZU Email Gopher! They just do not have all of the functions that are built into Email Gopher.

  2. How does it work? Email Gopher's built in web browser opens to a blank page. You select a search engine from the dropdown box on the right side of the screen. Use the search engine to find your URL or select from one that is already listed in the pull down box at the top of the screen. As soon as the page has loaded, you may click the 'Paste from Clipboard' button to load the raw text into the editor, or highlight specific text and copy, then click the 'Paste from Clipboard' button. The 'Paste from Clipboard' button extracts the email addresses, displays unique addresses on the right side of the form, then stores the email in an array. Click the 'Clear/Reset Form' button once to clear the text boxes. Click the 'Clear/Reset Form' button twice to completely reset the form and clear the stored emails. Results are placed in the system clipboard every time the 'Paste from Clipboard' button is clicked and new results are displayed. Clipboard contents are replaced by text from the new document when you navigate to a new URL. Use the Find and Replace button to remove unwanted text from the results. Text of form contents, stored emails, and current results are edited simultaneously using this feature. Email Gopher attempts to correct the URL form input, but since there are many variations, it is inefficient to test for all of them. For this reason the form only tests for the presence of the 'http://www.' prefix. If 'http' is absent, the form adds 'http://www.'. Caution: Allowing the Email Gopher to accumulate more than 500 addresses will cause it to run slower. A warning occurs when 750 emails are shown. At 1,000 total emails, processing is halted, and a reminder is provided to paste the results into a text editor. Current results are stored in the clipboard automatically. Apparent links in the source code for the webpages that are browsed are extracted to the Extracted Links pull down. Clicking on one of the listed links will cause the built-in browser to navigate to that URL. Errors can and do occur. Browsing is accomplished four ways: Extracted Links, Browser History, clicking web page links, or Using a Search Engine. Clicking the 'Paste from Clipboard' button clears URS shown in the Extracted Links and new URLs are extracted. When browsing sites that are written from scripts, often the email addresses are not easily accessible by this program. In this case, highlight the target text and copy manually to the clipboard. Then click the 'Paste from Clipboard' button to process. Paste results into another document for permanent storage. Remember, spamming is illegal unless you follow the rules."

  3. Select one of the standard search engines and navigate to a prospective site, or enter a URL and click GO To URL

  4. Site text is automatically copied and processed with one click. Email addresses are extracted and displayed in the results window, and copied to the system clipboard. Totals are shown on the right. Paste clipboard contents into any text editor.

  5. Some sites may display addresses within elements such as HTML frames and require a click into the element, then a manual Select-All and Copy before clicking the Paste from Clipboard button. Some webmasters even try to hide emails, but with a little practice, all emails may be mined and put to use.

  6. When processing large numbers of emails, a warning message is displayed. Just paste the current results into any text editor, save your work, click the Clear/Reset Form twice to clear memory and continue working.

  7. Go Back, Go Forward, or Refresh the browser

  8. Gopher Page is automatically rewritten each time a new webpage is processed. Click the Gopher Page links to navigate Use the Search Engines menu to navigate Click the Forward and Back buttons to navigate
