6. Guernsey Originated near the English Channel 30 miles from the coast of France. Known to be hearty and adaptable. Known for a yellowish color of milk.

7. Jersey Originated on the Island of Jersey, 15 miles from the coast of France. Known to produce more butterfat in milk than other dairy breeds.

8. Milking Shorthorn Originated in England. Known to be hardy. Known to have a wide range of adaptation. Good milkers.

14. Home Milk Delivery Home delivery of milk started near the end of the 18th century Home delivery was once a man carrying milk through the streets. In 1830 the milk man came to your home.

15. Milk Delivery Today Today a truck driver picks-up milk from the dairy. Milk is then taken directly to a processing plant. Once the milk is in containers or in a processed form, a truck takes it to the store.
