Presenting Your Project • The DISPLAY BOARD is probably the most familiar part of a Science Project. This tri-fold board will show off all your hard work so you want it to be professional. This power point offers several tips for its design and construction. • Borders (not necessary) • Lettering (Neat-not hand written) • Matting (adds color and fills “white space”) Limit colors • Table/s & Graph/s(large/full size) • Photos (all with proper caption) • Reformatting text size…Filling up space (Notice layout) • Use diagram on handout for proper placement • Small Display boards available for Free • A bit larger boards can be purchased at stores such as Staples, Office Depot, Michaels (about $3-5) • Colored, and Extra Thick boards also available at stores.
