  9. Reporting Challenges • Writing reports in JD Edwards is not possible for the user community. Currently, for a report to be written or modified it requires a request to the ERP team at Colas ISS which could take weeks to complete. Additionally, there is a backlog of development work and a long list of reports that are needed.

Business Objectives • Purchase & implement a reporting tool that will equip users with the ability to write their own ad-hoc reports and analytical tools. • The solution should have access to live JDE data real-time, utilize JDE security, and be user friendly. • The solution should have the ability to report across multiple data sources.
