  6. What is a Tree Diagram? Each branch represents a different possible outcome. Since all outcomes are listed, you can use the tree diagram to determine the probability of any specific outcome.

  7. Example 1: Create a tree diagram to model 3 flips of a coin.

  8. Example 2: You are making an ice cream sundae and choose one of each of the following: Ice Cream: Vanilla, Chocolate, or Strawberry Syrup: Fudge or Caramel Topping: Sprinkles or Nuts Create a tree diagram to model the different sundaes that you can create.
