Registration • Registration covers 14 attendees • These can be whoever you want them to be • You pay for any additional items • Late fees will be applied • Checks postmarked on/before the deadline will not be penalized • Everything you need to do is listed in the registration checklists

What can you use Slack for? Sending messages and files to other coaches Crowd-source answers to case and competition logistics questions with other coaches Arrange scrimmages Receive pairings and draws on competition weekend

Some key terms you’ll need to know “Workspace” The Empire Coaches domain A way for you to compartmentalize multiple workspaces (if you use Slack for things other than Empire)
Some key terms you’ll need to know “Channel” A group message that anyone in the empiremocktrial.org workplace can view Channel name indicates its purpose (eg find a scrimmage, case queries, strategy, rules)
Downloading Slack Download the Slack app Search for “Slack” on the App Store or Google Play Installable on your desktop. Visit slack.com and follow the instructions
Joining the Empire Coaches workspace Look for this email in your inbox (Check spam and junk folders) Click “Join Now” button Note: this will be sent to whichever coach email is first listed in each team registration
Setting up your Slack Profile Enter your full name Choose a password (write it down somewhere!) Click “Create account”
Adding other people on Slack You can invite another coach / captain (just enter their email address Or, click “Skip for Now” to proceed
