  1. BACK TO OFFICE AFTER LOCKDOWN-HERE IS HOW TO STAY SAFE?? By BivocalBirds Family bivocalbirds.com

  2. Why need such Precautions??? • Many of us start preparations for rejoining our physical office that means we have to go outside very soon. • Vaccine formulation is yet to be complete, so, we are still not safe out there therefore to protect ourselves and our loved ones form the Caronovirus’s attack, precautions are mandatory. So, BivocalBirds come together with some extra precautions besides government guidelines for office safety, which you should maintain while commuting to the work in this Coronavirus Pandemic…

  3. Guidelines provided by the Government: • The physical distancing of at least one meter to be followed at all times • Use of face covers/masks to be mandatory • Practice frequent hand washing (for at least 40-60 seconds) even when hands are not visibly dirty and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds) • Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves the strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing of used tissues properly.

  4. Guidelines provided by the Government… • Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest • Employees who feel ill or are suffering from flu-like illnesses are advised to not attend office and seek medical advice from local health authorities. Any staff requesting home quarantine based on the containment zone activities in their residential areas should be permitted to work from home.

  5. Additional Precaution measures for employers: • Make detailed planning activities with needed workers only, rest can continue their work from home. • Provide transportation for your workers. • Provides a series of testing checkpoints at the office to make sure a red flag can be raised if someone is not feeling well. • Make sure only 50% of the workspace is occupied to prevent the gathering of a crowd in the office space.

  6. Additional Precaution measures for employers… • Educated your staff on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19. • Form an additional HR resources group to answering their questions about what to do if they become ill, or are exposed to someone who is sick. • Discourage handshaking • Suspend or limit business travel. If inevitable, provide proper self-isolation and quarantine procedures for any employee who does travel. • Encourage your employee to maintain hygiene, keep tissues, hand sanitizer, soap, disinfectant wipes readily available to all employees.

  7. Additional Precaution measures for employers… • Identify where and how coronavirus could be transmitted at your workplace. • Consider all the high-traffic areas and frequently touch surfaces of your facility like door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, lobbies, bathrooms, break rooms, and shared offices. So, schedule those areas with additional cleaning and disinfection, both before reopening the office and as a new normal routine. • To make more virus-free, try Installing antimicrobial hardware throughout your facility. • Invest in more automated and voice-activated technology as it will eliminate common touchpoints that are frequently used throughout the office.

  8. Additional precautions for the employees: • Make a habit to always use Mask and Gloves. Remember to switch them with new ones at relative intervals. • Sanitize your hands after every touching of frequently used surface, in office as well as in transport you use to commute like buses or trains or even inside the cab. • Avoid any transport where social distancing is not maintained. Better to use private vehicles instead of public transport. • Don’t touch your face, mouth, or nose, as this might increase the risk of infection.

  9. Additional precautions for the employees… • Always carry a small packet of tissues or handkerchief to prevent sneezing or coughing in open. Keep on replacing them at relevant intervals. • Carry your stationery from home to reduce the risk of being contaminated through office stationery you don’t know who else has touched before. • Prefer not to eat from outside and it will be best if you avoid it. • Sanitize your hands now and then and especially maintain extreme precautious for surroundings in office washrooms. • If you find any COVID symptoms – cold, fever, breathlessness, or loss of sense of taste or smell – stop going to the office immediately and seek medical health, and tell others to do the same if it happens to them as well.
