INDUSTRIAL ECOLOGY SEMINAR Complexity perspectives on industrial ecology -- Gerard Dijkema and Igor Nikolic, Faculty of Technology Policy and Management, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands • Dr. Gerard P.J. Dijkema’s expertise covers networked process system innovation, systems dynamics modeling of large-scale systems and the relation between industrial infrastructure systems and applicable policy, law and economics. • Igor Nikolic’s background includes chemical- and bio-process engineering, industrial ecology, and complex system theory, network theory and agent-based modeling of evolutionary processes in industrial infrastructure systems. • Their presentation will give an overview of their research and education plans at Delft on Industrial Cluster Development, Industrial Ecology and Complexity, and offer some concrete examples of possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
