What is a Pressure Regulator? The function of a pressure regulator is to reduce a pressure and attempt to keep this pressure as constant as possible while the inlet pressure and the flow may vary.

Sub Sea Applications • The set pressure topside is referenced to the external depth of seawater pressure which directly increases the outlet pressure by a 1:1 ratio. • Working with Cameron on sub sea application at 1300m depth. • Will the seawater pressure be directly applied to the spring chamber area, or will there be an oil transfer chamber to protect the spring? • If the seawater is in direct contact, and the spring is permanently submerged, we recommend to change the load spring to an elgiloy material, which will reflect in the pricing. • Is the regulator in a permanent subsea installation or accessible for servicing?

Ceramic seating lasts 5 to 20 times longer Rods of test materials (10mm diameter, 30mm long) were placed in the outlet stream of a high pressure water jet under the conditions indicated.
