1. In this lab, we learn the “a href =“ code to link images/strings to a specific site. Also, this code is helpful for updating our homework and labs onto the CSE3 home page. Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript Computational Thinking Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Desktop Publishing with MS Word Visual Programming with Alice Introduces the concepts and skills necessary to effectively use information technology. Includes basic concepts and some practical skills with computer and networks. In this lab, I learned how to interact with visitors on the website. We learned a new code on Notepad++ that helps us to use JavaScript. On the site I created, pop-ups ask questions that interact with the visitor and it is sequential based on their answers. I learned to create a file from Microsoft Word and saving it as a PDF file. During this process, I learned to how create the table of contents and formatting pictures. After that, I uploaded the file onto the internet. I learned how to use the Alice program. This is a program where you create a virtual world, by adding instance and creating methods which carry out the actions of the objects. Derek’s CSE3 Poster During this lab, I learned how to write equations within Microsoft Excel. Also, I learned how to create pie charts and table charts using the inputted data. When finished, I put it all together on the Microsoft PowerPoint to create a presentation. I learned how to copy different images such as pie charts and graphs onto MS PowerPoint. After that, I organized it in an orderly manner to create a nice and interesting presentation.
