  1. EARTH`SLAYERS INNER CORE The inner core is solid because of all the heat and pressure MANTLE The mantle is molten rock that moves the plates OUTER CORE The outer core is hot and liquid CRUST The crust is where we live, and it is formed of plates.

  2. Earth’s Layers Crust It is the thinnest layer. Mantle Itis the thickestlayer. Outer core It is melted nickel. Inner Core It is solid because all the pressure is on it.

Mantle Out of all the layers, the mantle is the thickest. And its made of molten magma!

  6. Layers of the Earth The mantle is a liquid like layer that is 2,900 km thick. The Crust is up to 1600 Fahrenheit! The inner core is the hottest layer, above 9000 Fahrenheit and it is 1250 km thick! The outer core is made of nickel and metal.
