Healthy Home Demonstration Program • To develop, demonstrate, evaluate cost-effective, preventive measures to correct residential safety and health hazards that produce diseases and injuries • $9 million available nationwide • $875,000 maximum grant • Eligible grantees: tribes, nonprofit and profit entities, governments, universities • Special interest in novel, innovative activities to advance healthy home practices

Rural Housing and Economic Development (RHED) • Support innovative housing and economic development activities in rural areas • Up to $150,000 for capacity building • Hire and train staff and consultants, software, strategic plans, lease office space • Up to $400,000 direct project costs • Soft costs, construction, acquisition, housing, microenterprise
