Texas Public School Technology Surveys – 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002 Surveys included the following sections - • District Demographics • District Policies • District Technology Infrastructure * • Technology Support and Sustainability • Technology Integration and Use • Professional Development * • Outreach/Communication * Highlight findings from two areas

  3. Findings - Infrastructure Results indicated significant increases in classroom Internet access by 2002. Now, in 2005 there is nearly 100% access across all campuses in the state. TrackStar • HOW many folks are familiar w/ TrackStar? • TrackStar is your starting point for online lessons and activities. • Simply collect Web sites, enter them into TrackStar, • Add annotations for your students, and you have an interactive, online lesson called a Track. • Create your own Track or use one of the hundreds of thousands already made by other educators. • Search the database by subject, grade, or theme and standard for a quick and easy activity. • There is a fun Track already made for each day of the year, too!
