Executive Programme in Facility Management • “The M in Facility Management” • Managing a facility business in today’s highly volatile business environment from an Executive’s point of view. • The Theory • The Process • The Applications • This 2-day intensive Executive Programme is offered by the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) in collaboration with Lexos. The programme is designed as a continuous professional development for senior executives who have acquired substantial experience in property and/ or facility management organizations through exploration of the latest technological and managerial innovation in today’s and future’s facility management practices. • Day 1 • What in the Business World is Happening today? • The FM Organisations • eFM: Facility Management as eBusiness • New Measures of Success Day 2 • Managing People in the Digital Economy • Competency Management • Workplace Strategies • Outsourcing – Is it the Cure for All? • Certification Assignment (3 hours) To qualify for the award of the Executive Certificate in Facility Management, each participant is required to have full attendance and be assessed in group discussions and presentations PLUS the submission and passing of a Certification Assignment to be handed-in at the end of the programme. Programme Recognition • Participants who have achieved full attendance requirement of the programme and satisfied with the Certification Assignment are eligible to apply to be a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management. • For applicants who do not possess a professional qualification and wish to be admitted directly as a member of the Institute should have at least 12 years relevant facility management working experience with at least 7 years in a senior management position.  • The programme is also recognised as a 16-hour CPD event for members of the Institute and the Building Surveying Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. • Programme Instructors • Alex K.
